Bio

I was born in San Diego and first started working with wood at the Boy's Club when I was eight years old and continued in junior and senior high school in the wood shop classes that were available at that time. After graduating from high school I took a job in construction as an electrician and also played acoustic bass in local clubs. I studied music at San Diego State University for two years and received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston for two years then spent a year touring Europe with a jazz quartet.
Upon returning to the U.S. I moved to New York City continuing to play with well known jazz artists. I moved to Chicago and purchased a one hundred year old Dutch Colonial home where I immediately set-up a basement workshop building furniture and restoring my home. In time I acquired a few clients for my custom furniture and also continued with my music. When I sold my home and relocated back to San Diego in 2005, I set-up a new shop and I am building a new client base. My "Art Furniture" won awards 2006 through 2009 at the "Design in Wood" at the San Deigo County Fair.
